A mixture of HL and SL subjects can be chosen, however we normally recommend one of the combinations listed below:

  • 2 HL Subjects
  • 2 HL Subjects + 1 SL Subject
  • 2 HL Subjects + 2 SL Subjects (Not advisable due to workload)
  • 1 HL Subject + 2 SL Subjects
  • 1 HL Subject + 1 SL Subject (Not advisable due to university options available)

Please be aware that with such a wide choice of options and the need to timetable such combinations, it may not be possible to satisfy all combinations of subjects. If this happens then Mr Sully, Deputy Head (Academic) will discuss the available options with you directly.
