The advantage of being signed into Google Chrome (see here) with your school email account is that we can push out school web apps and websites to you where ever you are signed in  on a school device or personal device. 

To access these  after you are singed in you you click on the Apps tile in the book mark bar as shown below (highlighted in yellow)

Each app can open as a separate chrome less winnow (try Firefly and you will see) so the webpage just looks like a normal Application not part of the web browser
