Welcome to the Sixth Form Transition Programme for prospective historians! In this section you will find a range of resources to whet your appetite and prepare you for your studies ahead. A Level History (AQA) is comprised of three units: two examination units and one non-examined assessment unit (coursework). The recommendations and tasks below prepare the ground for the two examination units. These are:

• Paper 1 - Spain in the Age of Discovery, 1469-1598
• Paper 2 - Wars and Welfare: Britain, 1906-1957
