All French IGCSE past papers and the relevant listening tracks can be found on the Pearson website, using the following link:
- For the current specification there is only one past paper, June 2019, that you did for your March mock. It is locked to pupils for 9 months after the date the exam was originally sat. However the past papers from the previous specification are still very useful for practice.
- There are mark schemes and examiner reports for each paper.
- You can self mark the listening and reading components, however you will need to send your written answers to your teacher for marking.
Technique to using past papers:
Reading: complete the paper in exam conditions, self-mark, then look back through and work out why you made any mistakes.
Write a list of unknown vocabulary, look this up and learn it.
Writing: mindmap your ideas, use the writing template sheet. Make sure you include a range of different tenses and the 30 steps!
