Welcome to St Monica!

St Monica is located in a quiet corner of the campus in our 'boarding village' and benefits from its own private outdoor recreational area of beautiful lawns and a stream, where the pupils have the opportunity to socialise with friends or play games. Facilities within the house include a computer room, common room, craft room and a well-resourced social area with its own cooking area.

Life in the House is busy and fun! We are so lucky to be able to go on many adventures and do lots of house activities. There is plenty of time for rest and relaxation, but also the chance to play board games, do craft, hang out with friends and make dens. At the weekend, we always get ou and about, and enjoy going to town, to local nature reserves and parks and further afield for exciting trips.

Housemistress, Miss Horner teaches in the Prep School and together with Ellen Santana, Matron, provide all our young peoples need to thrive in this family feel boarding house. Together with the resident and academic Tutors, Miss Horner and Ms Santana work hard to make sure everyone is happy as possible, as it is the School’s and the House’s belief that pastoral happiness and comfort are indelibly linked with academic success.
